Baby sleeping bag size guide
How to pick between 60, 70, 90 and 110 cm, measured from your baby's height, not their age.
Measure height, not age
Sleeping bag sizes are based on body length, and babies of the same age can differ by more than 10 cm. Measure your baby from shoulder to foot, then add roughly 10 to 15 cm of room to move.
The bag should be long enough for your baby to stretch, but never so long that they can slip down inside it. The neck and arm openings are what keep the bag safe, they should sit snugly without pressing.
Our size chart
Use this as a starting point and size up when your baby is between two sizes and already close to the upper height.
| Size | Approximate age | Body height |
|---|---|---|
| 60 cm | 0 to 3 months | up to 62 cm |
| 70 cm | 3 to 9 months | 62 to 74 cm |
| 90 cm | 9 to 18 months | 74 to 92 cm |
| 110 cm | 18 to 36 months | 92 to 110 cm |
When to move up a size
Move up when your baby's feet reach the bottom seam, or when the neck opening starts to look tight. Buying one size too big "to last longer" is the most common mistake, a bag your baby can slide into is not safer for having more room.
